Dear Education West Virginia Building Representatives,
On behalf of Education West Virginia, we are excited to invite you to EWV’s first Building Representatives Conference. This event is designed specifically for you and the other dedicated EWV members who serve as the connection between our union and your schools.
As a building representative, your role is essential. You advocate for your colleagues, help strengthen our union, and ensure that educators and school employees have a voice in their workplace. This conference will provide an opportunity to deepen your understanding of your role, build leadership skills, and connect with fellow representatives from across the state.
Throughout the conference, participants will:
• Explore the importance and impact of the building representative role
• Learn practical tools and resources to support members effectively
• Gain strategies for communication, organizing, and problem-solving
• Share experiences and collaborate with other union leaders
• Leave empowered and confident in their position as a representative
